4th District, Division 1, Celebrates the Court of Appeal's 100th Anniversary with Public Exhibit

The 100th anniversary of the California Court of Appeal is being commemorated in a year-long series of statewide events as well as in local celebrations in each of its six appellate districts. These celebrations honor the rich history of the court, and the justices and court staff who have dedicated themselves to public service and equal access to justice for all Californians. The Fourth Appellate District, Division One, in cooperation with the Administrative Office of the Courts, has prepared an exhibit displaying a statewide informational exhibit and a unique San Diego exhibit of photographs, maps, court documents, artifacts, and newspaper articles that highlight some of the significant events and personalities that have shaped the history of the Court of Appeal and its Fourth Appellate District. This traveling exhibit is displayed at local universities and law libraries.
