11. Procedures for Address Changes

When you change your address you must serve and file a change of address with the court. The Clerk's Office may accept filings from you if your address on the document does not match your address of record, but the filing may be stricken if a change of address notice is not promptly filed. You may also experience a delay in receipt of documents mailed by the court.

(See California Rules of Court, rule 8.32 for further information.)
