San Francisco Same-Sex Marriage Cases
(Lockyer v. City and County of San Francisco and Lewis v. Alfaro)
Because of the high level of public interest in these cases, the Supreme Court granted extraordinary access to the oral argument sessions on May 25 in San Francisco. Additional space was made available to attorneys, media representatives, and members of the public in the auditorium of the Milton Marks Conference Center of the Hiram W. Johnson State Building in San Francisco for viewing of the proceedings. See below for more information about the broadcast, the cases, and the California Supreme Court.
