The Humboldt County Courthouse and Jail complex occupies all of two blocks bordered by Fourth Street (Highway 101 South), Fifth Street (Highway 101 North), I Street, and J Street. Access for Disabled: On the east side of the Courthouse, access disabled parking next to the Jail by driving through the K Street parking lot. A ramp extends to the main entrance facing Fifth Street.
Parking: There are two all-day parking lots near the courthouse: One is situated at Third and I Streets, and the other is at Second and H Streets. A two-hour lot is on the corner of Fifth and H Streets. Parking adjacent to the Court/Jail complex varies from 12 to 20-minutes.
Directions: From Crescent City/Del Norte County--Travel south on Highway 101 approximately 84 miles. At the Eureka City limit, Highway 101 South divides and becomes Fourth Street. The Court/Jail complex is on the left after a few blocks, between I and J Streets.

From Redding /Shasta County--Travel west on Highway 299 approximately 138 miles. Bear left on ramp to US-101 South. Go south for approximately 10 miles. At the Eureka City limit, Highway 101 South divides and becomes Fourth Street. The Court/Jail complex is on the left after a few blocks, between I and J Streets.

From Ukiah/Mendocino County--Travel north on Highway 101 for approximately 156 miles. At the Eureka City limit, Highway 101 North becomes Broadway. Broadway splits and the northerly flow becomes Fifth Street. The Court/Jail complex is on the left after a few blocks.
