Judicial Council and Advisory Committee Nominations

Interested in Serving on the Judicial Council
or One of Its Advisory Committees?

The Executive and Planning Committee of the Judicial Council is responsible for coordinating the annual nominations process to fill vacancies on the council and its advisory committees and task forces. The nomination period begins mid-April and ends May 31 for the Judicial Council and June 30 for the advisory committees; terms of service for task forces vary. Nomination forms for Judicial Council and advisory committees will be available on this site every April.

Occasionally vacancies occur during the year. If you would like to be considered for any of these, you may designate your interest by submitting the information below. Advisory committees' roles and responsibilities are described in the California Rules of Court, which also lists the membership categories for each committee.
