Bench
Book for Education Issues in Dependency and Delinquency Court (2006)
Hon. Sherri Sobel, Referee in the Dependency Court of the Superior Court
of Los Angeles County, designed this Bench Book for Education Issues
in Dependency and Delinquency Court (2006) to assist bench officers
in deciding issues outlined in Standard 24 of the California Standards
of Judicial Administration. It includes an analysis of applicable law,
checklists, as well as sample forms and motions. Referee Sobel discussed
this book at a presentation at the Beyond the Bench XVII Conference (2006),
sponsored by the Judicial Council of California, Administrative Office
of the Courts, Center for Families, Children and the Courts.
