Delinquency Projects and Information

The Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC), Administrative Office of the Courts is involved in many juvenile delinquency projects aimed at improving the juvenile justice system. This site serves to:

  • Update on local and national education and trainings or other events

    New Event: National Center for Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) 72nd Annual Conference
    July 12-15, 2008, in Chicago, IL
    NCJFCJ focuses on the improvement of juvenile and family justice, and their annual conference features many workshops related to delinquency-as well as other juvenile and family law topics

  • Offer easy access to delinquency resources and publications through an "information clearinghouse"

    Recent Publications: The Juvenile Delinquency Court Assessment 2008 is a comprehensive research study of the California delinquency court system based on surveys and focus groups conducted with delinquency court professionals and court users. Click here to view the final report.

  • Reports on promising and model practices in juvenile delinquency courts and other programs

    Current Program: Model Policies for Juvenile Justice and Substance Abuse Treatment: A Report by Reclaiming Futures, which combines system reforms, treatment improvement and community engagement to help teenagers caught in the cycle of drugs, alcohol and crime.
