IntroductionThe
intent of Community-Focused Court Planning is to create the future, not predict it.
Community participation and inclusion in court planning helps the courts clearly consider
all perspectives to ensure that a strong and effective partnership is developed. Building
a sense of community among planning team members, with members of the local courts, and
with the courts' stakeholders, ensures that the planning process will be constructive and
productive to the widest audience. This site identifies the need for such planning and
proposes strategies for meeting that need.
