Grants to Provide ADR Information to Self-Represented Litigants A total of $330,000 has been allocated from the fiscal year 2007-2008 Trial Court Improvement Fund for pilot projects aimed at helping self-represented litigants in small claims and limited civil cases better understand the legal issues in their cases and more effectively participate in mediation and other settlement programs. Courts may submit individual applications or collaborate with other courts on a project. Due to funding limitations, the awards will be made on a competitive basis. Deadline to apply: May 2, 2008.
