Child Welfare Council
Assembly Bill 2216  (2005-2006 Session) created a California Child Welfare Council to be co-chaired by Supreme Court Associate Justice, Carlos Moreno and Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency, Kimberly Belshé. The California Child Welfare Council is an advisory body that will be responsible for improving the collaboration and processes of the multiple agencies and courts that serve children and youth in the child welfare and foster care systems.
