COOP Planning for the California Courts

Funding is being made available to the AOC by California’s Office of Emergency Services (OES) through a supplemental federal appropriation for the State Domestic Preparedness Program. As administrator of this funding, the AOC is seeking the services of a consultant that can facilitate the development of COOP plan frameworks for the Supreme Court, the Courts of Appeal, and the AOC, as well as a COOP plan template to be locally adapted by the Superior Courts.

This Request for Proposals was issued on September 17, 2003 to solicit proposals from consultants with expertise in developing disaster preparedness and Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP). Experience specific to the courts system is preferable. Only written responses will be accepted. Responses should be sent by registered or certified mail or by hand delivery. Proposals must be received on or before September 25, 2003, by 5 p.m. at the location specified in the original RFP. Postmarks will not be accepted.
