Official Publisher of California Judicial Council Forms
This Request for Proposals was issued on April 23, 2003, to solicit proposals to become the Official Publisher of California Judicial Council Forms.
The Judicial Council develops forms for use in California trial and appellate courts. The Official Publisher provides drafting, layout, and other assistance to the council in the development and production of new and revised forms. With the help of the official publisher, the council distributes the forms to the courts and posts them in electronic versions on the California Courts Web site. The Official Publisher also publishes the forms in paper or electronic versions.
The Official Publisher will be selected for at least a two-year term, beginning on or about August 1, 2003. The successful bidder will be entitled to call itself the Official Publisher of California Judicial Council Forms. The Official Publisher will not be the only publisher of Judicial Council forms, but will be listed first in the list of forms publishers on the California Courts Web site.
Only written responses will be accepted. Responses should be sent by registered or certified mail, or hand-delivered. Bidders may send an advance copy of a response by facsimile at the facsimile number listed below. However, sending a facsimile copy does not satisfy all response requirements. All responses must be received by the Administrative Office of the Courts by 5 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time, on May 28, 2003.
