Off-site Data Storage

The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking bids to identify a qualified service provider who will deliver highly specialized services with regard to off-site storage of computer media for the San Francisco Bay Area sites. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued on November 26, 2003. The duration of the contract is from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2004, with options to extend.

The prospective service provider should be able to 1) provide off-site storage outside the San Francisco Bay Area; 2) insure emergency retrieval of materials within 24 hours; 3) transport materials in specifically equipped, alarmed, unmarked vehicles; 4) maintain a vault environment that is steel reinforced and earthquake resistant; 5) insure online, cardkey access system for all doors; 6) provide monitoring of security, alarm, and fire detection; 7) provide materials inventory on an annual basis and 8) insure flexibility in service delivery to accommodate the California state holiday schedule. A maximum of $25,000 is available for this contract, with a negotiable option for renewal.
