Adoption Records in California Courts
Adoption files are confidential files and not available to the public. The parties and their attorneys to the adoption may obtain copies of adoption files from the court clerk where the adoption was granted. Other requests may require a court order for release of information from the court file. Click here for a list of courts and their contact information.
