Go to Court With Your Paperwork

After you fill out your paperwork, you have to take it to the court. At the court, you will give the papers to a clerk. This is called filling your papers.

Before you go to the court, you need to:

  • Get you papers together.
  • Make four copies of your worksheets, agreement, and joint petition.
  • Get money or a check for the court filing fee. If you want to ask for a fee waiver forms, have your filled out forms.
