Wait Six Months

You have to wait six months from the day you filed with the court to finish your summary dissolution.

Hint: Write the date on your calendar so that you remember when your six months are up. After six months have past, you need to file one more form to finish your summary dissolution.

You won't be divorced, and you can't get remarried, until after you finish your summary dissolution.

If you decide that you don't want to get divorced during the six months, you must file a FL-830 with the court.
