What happens after my hearing?

  • If the judge agrees that you be the guardian, s/he will sign your Order Appointing Guardian of the Child, Form GC-240
  • You will then sign the Letters of Guardianship, Form GC-250
  • Take both forms to the clerk's office to certify and file them.
