The Family Law Facilitator office is open Monday through Friday; the self-help center is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Services Provided
Individual meetings by appointment; child support mediation; self-help center with sample forms, videotapes, books, and brochures.

The family court is implementing a "Pro Per Day" as part of the court's calendaring system. All self-represented litigants make their first court appearance on "Pro Per Day," usually biweekly. Assembled for this calendar are representatives from the local child support agency, the Family Law Facilitator office, and volunteers from Humboldt Mediation Services.

Additional Services
Attorney referrals (both pro bono and sliding scale); outreach to domestic violence groups.
