Will the court provide language interpreters for unlawful detainer cases?

The court DOES NOT provide foreign language interpreters for unlawful detainer (residential eviction) cases.

If a person involved in the case does not speak and understand English, he or she should bring a friend or relative, or hire an interpreter.

But the court will provide English sign-language interpreters upon request.
